UPDATE: The civic has been sold.
Thank you to all of the people that have shown an interest.
Are you looking for a sweet ride,
one that makes it fun to be driving around town
or on a road trip somewhere? About the closest
comparison to driving this Civic
is driving
a go-cart around
a closed track. It is very subtle in it's feel,
and yet is very solid in it's approach.
As Imports are becoming the rage for many people,
this car makes it affordable. While the 2003
Honda Civic SIR may be one of the hottest imports
available in Canada today, it is out of reach
financially for most tuners because of the
price point. This Honda Civic is very affordable,
with
many
improvements
on an already fine platform.
This 1990 Honda Civic is in exceptional condition.
It has many features you will not find on another
Civic like this. I am the second owner, and know
the full history of the car. It has been parked
inside (both at home and at work) for the past
7 years, which greatly reduces the amount of
fading
or deterioration
from
sitting
out in the rain, or in the sun. It was a daily
driver to work.

Front Corner Shot
This picture was taken on February 1st, 2003
at the Delta port docks. As the picture shows,
the car is in very good shape, and has a one-of-a-kind
look to it.
Another shot a little bit closer and at a little
bit different angle. This shot shows the slammed
appearance of the suspension. What you don't
see is that the front roters have been replaced
this past summer (summer 2002) with oversize
rotors that would fit on a Volkswagen Corrado
(not the typical Acura Integra upgrade). To say
it can stop on a dime now is a definite understatement.
From this angle you can see the slight rake
of the car. It sits pretty level, but with a
slight rake to the front. This picture also shows
how clean the car is from one end to the other.
From the rear of the car, you can see the nice
stance it has. These tires are the largest I
have ever seen fit on this generation of Civic.
They are wide and tall, with only very minor
rubbing on the front tires slower cornering speeds.
The rear do not rub at all, even with four full
size adults in the car.
Ok, this picture is just fun. a clean angle,
showing the fun lines of the car, and just how
large the wheels are on this car. Many people
thought I would never fit a set of 18" wheels
on this generation of a Honda Civic Hatchback.

This shot shows the tweeters mounted at the
kick panels, for exceptional sound staging. You
can also see the Alpine 6 disk CD changer. This
unit was favored by many auto sound competitors
for it's exceptionally clean sound output. It
was Alpines top-of-the-line CD changer.
This shot shows the upgraded gauge cluster with
the tachometer in the factory location, as well
as the upgraded factory SI steering wheel, and
upgraded foot pedals.
Unfortunately in this picture the flash was
too close to the dash and ended up washing out
the head unit. It also was Alpines top-of-the-line
unit, with a wireless remote control. It is a
AM/FM/Cassette pre-amp only, with no built in
amplifier, and with 4 volt pre-outs to the amplifier
for an exceptionally clean and strong signal.
The rear hatch of the car is very functional,
even with the stereo in place. with the factory
rear carpeting in place, the Alpine 5 channel
competition amplifier and AVI SL250 10" sub
woofers are not at all visible.
* The Alpine Amplifier and AVI
Sub woofers are not included in the sale of
the vehicle. They will be removed at the time
of sale.
With the factory carpeting and spare tire cover
removed, the Alpine competition amplifier and
AVI SL250 10" Subs are displayed. The amplifier
and Subs will be removed at time of sale. But
the sub box and amplifier tray and all wiring
will stay so it will be very easy to add in your
own amplifier and subs. The head unit remote
is also displayed in this picture to the left
of
the subs.
